With the recent spate of warm weather it may seem early to be planning for Christmas but don't let that lull you in to a false sense of security. We've been helping our retail and e-commerce clients plan for these key trading periods since the beginning August.
While it hasn't been the year that any of us were expecting, many people are coming to the realisation that life simply has to go on and people will continue to buy and spend. Marketers cannot rest on their laurels and wait, in fact those that saw the biggest gains in turbulent times actually increased their marketing spend during them to better position themselves.
So with these two important shopping periods rapidly approaching, we would like to advise you that you can use existing incentive schemes to post Black Friday and Christmas campaigns and at the same time achieve a postage credit to use against future mailings.
