If making a PDF from InDesign:
FILE>EXPORT>Adobe PDF (Print),
Select PDF destination and name file accordingly.
PDF Preset: Press Quality
Standard: PDF-X 1a: 2003
Tick Crop Marks and Offset to 3mm
Bleed 3mm.
